The Consular Section of the Austrian Embassy Washington sees its main tasks in providing service to all Austrian citizens within its jurisdiction and those interested in traveling to Austria.

Our jurisdiction includes 18 federal states: (Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia), as well as the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

Our team receives significant support from twelve Honorary Consulates in Atlanta, Houston, Miami, Nassau, New Orleans, Orlando, Richmond, San Juan, Spartanburg, St. Louis, St. Thomas and Tampa.
